Foster Care Resource Center
A need in the community was identified by Foster Care families to have a “closet” of supplies for families taking in children in North Berkshire County and the nearby states of Vermont and New York, particularly for unanticipated situations where children are suddenly displaced to a new home and without needed items or clothes. Our CBC “closet” name is “Supplies & Support Boutique” for Foster Care and Adoptive Families and it offers all types of supplies, toys, books, toiletries, clothing, shoes, and baby items such as formula, baby food, nursery items and so much more!
Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at CBC has been in operation for over 25 years and serves approximately 130 families from the church and community. The main distribution is on the third Wednesday of the month from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M. Interested households can pick up 50 to 60 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables, diary, meats and shelf life food.
